Sanders is likely to face questions about Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen's Senate testimony Tuesday.

Nielsen said she did not hear President Donald Trump use the word 'shithole' to describe African nations, Haiti and El Salvador in an immigration meeting last week. Earlier in the day, she told CBS News those protected under the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program, or DACA, wouldn't be a priority for deportation if the program expires.

Sanders could also face questions about comments made on Tuesday when she said claims that Trump was racist were "outrageous," while citing his success as a public figure and as host on NBC's reality show The Apprentice.

She could also face questions about a potential government shutdown.
