Dec. 7 (UPI) -- White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was scheduled to give an on-camera press briefing Thursday afternoon.
She was set to answer questions at 1:30 p.m. EST.
Sanders likely will face questions about the resignation of Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., over sexual misconduct allegations.
She also may address the lawsuit by sporting goods retailer Patagonia against President Donald Trump for his decision to shrink two Utah national monuments.
Before the briefing, Trump met with Senate Republicans as well as Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel.
Later in the afternoon, Trump was scheduled to sign a proclamation for National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, meet with congressional leadership and John Bolton, former ambassador to the United Nations. In the evening, the president and first lady Melania Trump plan to host a Hanukkah reception at the White House.
