Dec. 5 (UPI) -- White House press secretary Sarah Sanders was scheduled to give an on-camera press briefing Tuesday afternoon.

She was set to answer questions at 2:30 p.m. EST.

Before the briefing, President Donald Trump had lunch with Senate Republicans and met with U.S. business owners and their families.

In the evening, the president and first lady Melania Trump were scheduled to host the Congressional Ball.
