Nov. 14 (UPI) -- Florida police said they believe the same killer who shot three people dead last month also killed another on Tuesday.

Ronald Felton, 60, died in the Seminole Heights neighborhood of Tampa, Fla., after someone shot him on a roadway.

Tampa Police Chief Brian Dugan said at a news conference that he believes the slaying is connected to three other shooting deaths in the same neighborhood.

Benjamin Mitchell, 22, was shot dead at a bus stop Oct. 9; the body of Monica Hoffa, 32, was found in an empty lot nearby four days later; and Anthony Naiboa, 20, was shot Oct. 19 only blocks away from the first killing.

"It's very unfortunate here that we've had another one," Dugan said. "We think by their proximity and the manner it was done, they are linked."

Police described the suspect as a light-skinned, black male with a thin build standing between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall. Investigators believe he lives in the neighborhood and was still in the area.

"This has got to stop," Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn said. "We will hunt this person down until we find them."
