Nov. 13 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump on Monday nominated former pharmaceutical executive Alex Azar to lead the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, a vacancy left by ousted chief Tom Price.
Azar was president of Lilly USA, the largest affiliate of Eli Lilly & Co., until January. He was also HHS general counsel in former President George W. Bush's administration from 2001 to 2005.
