Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Two people died and two were injured in a quadruple shooting Sunday during a concert in downtown Atlanta, authorities said.

Police said the shooting started just before 10 p.m. Sunday night at Atlanta's Masquerade music hall, during a rap concert. Investigators said an argument erupted when two of the victims climbed onto the stage during an intermission.

One person died at the scene and the other at the hospital, officials said. The two injured victims did not receive serious wounds and are expected to recover.

Police said the gunman was "not successfully detained." They do not believe the shooting was premeditated.

Sunday's performance was scheduled to feature musical artists Cousin Stizz, Levi Carter, Big Leano and Givon.

The multiple shooting was the second in six weeks to occur at a musical venue in the United States. Fifty-eight people were killed in Las Vegas on Oct. 1 at the Route 91 country music festival in the deadliest mass shooting in U.S. history.
