Watch live: Sarah Sanders gives press briefing

Oct. 16 (UPI) -- White House press secretary Sarah Sanders is scheduled to give an on-camera daily press briefing Monday.

She was expected to answer reporters' questions at 1:30 p.m. EDT.

Prior to the briefing, President Donald Trump held a meeting with his Cabinet and had lunch with Vice President Mike Pence and Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell.

In the afternoon, Trump was scheduled to travel to Greer, S.C., in order to endorse Gov. Henry McMaster for re-election.
