Oct. 13 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump will address the Values Voter Summit in Washington, D.C., on Friday.

His speech to the summit, a part of the conservative Family Values Council, will begin at 10:10 a.m. EDT.

Trump is the first sitting president to visit the annual conference. He last spoke there in 2015 as a Republican candidate for president.

"Values voters have waited eight years for a leader who puts America's mission first and respects the values that made America into a great nation," Tony Perkins, the council's president, said in a Tuesday statement.

Former Trump strategists Sebastian Gorka and Steve Bannon, and former Rep. Michele Bachmann are among the other scheduled speakers.
