Aug. 1 (UPI) -- White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is scheduled to give a press briefing Tuesday afternoon.
Since her last press briefing Monday, White House communications director Anthony Scaramucci was fired from his position, after just 10 days in the position.
New White House chief of staff John Kelly also informed aides he would establish military-style discipline in President Donald Trump's administration. Kelly's arrival on Friday came after former chief of staff Reince Priebus was fired.
Sanders is also expected to be asked about reports that Trump provided his son, Donald Trump Jr., a misleading statement about a meeting during the presidential campaign with a lawyer connected to the Russian government. If true, it could be used to allege a cover-up by Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller, which is researching whether Trump obstructed justice.
Sanders' briefing is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. EDT.
