Watch live: Trump announces pharmaceutical initiative

July 20 (UPI) -- President Donald Trump on Thursday is scheduled to make an announcement on a pharmaceutical glass packaging initiative, the White House said.

His remarks are set to take place at 3 p.m. in the Roosevelt of the White House.

The administration offered few details on the initiative, but on Tuesday, The New York Times reported it received a a draft of an executive order on drug prices that could be in the favor of pharmaceutical companies. It's unclear if the proposed order is related to Wednesday's announcement.
