The first lady and her son had been living at their Manhattan apartment in Trump Tower since President Donald Trump's inauguration so Barron could finish up his year of school there.

In the fall, the 11-year-old is expected to attend St. Andrew's Episcopal School in Potomac, Md.

Also on board Marine One with the first family were Melania Trump's parents, Viktor Knavs and Amalija Knavs.

Melania Trump tweeted she was looking forward to her years living in the White House.
