June 5 (UPI) -- The Central Bucks County, Pa., School District announced facility closures Monday as authorities search for an escaped prisoner.
A shelter-in-place order for some county residents was given on Sunday, and lifted Monday.
Daniel Selby, 25, accused of failure to appear in court, escaped a police van as he was being transported in and ran into a wooded area, police said. They added he is handcuffed and was last seen near a local convenience store.
Officials in Doylestown Township described him as a non-violent offender. The search thus far is focused on the Doylestown and Warrington areas of eastern Pennsylvania.
