April 18 (UPI) -- Oklahoma authorities said they captured a fugitive accused of fatally shooting a sheriff's deputy on Tuesday morning.
The suspect, Nathan Aaron Leforce, 45, was captured and in custody Tuesday afternoon.

Authorities say Leforce fatally shot Logan County sheriff's deputy David Wade and fled in a stolen vehicle, according to Oklahoma City Police and the FBI.
After the shooting, officials say, Leforce, 45, stole the deputy's vehicle and fled.
The FBI's Oklahoma City office announced on Twitter at around 2 p.m. that Leforce had been taken into custody, citing the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The Oklahoma City Police Department sahred their "deepest condolences" to Wade's family on Twitter.
The manhunt for Leforce launched not long after Ohio authorities wrapped up a high-profile search for Steve W. Stephens, a man accused of killing a 74-year-old man on the street and posting a video of the homicide to Facebook.

After more than a day of searching, Stephens was found dead in Pennsylvania of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
