March 8 (UPI) -- Press secretary Sean Spicer on Wednesday is scheduled to hold a daily press briefing at the White House.
He is set to answer questions from reporters at 1:30 p.m.
The briefing comes as President Donald Trump has a full day of meetings with business leaders and lawmakers.
Early in the day, he met with Laurene Powell Jobs, founder of the Emerson Collective, and a liberal supporter of education and immigration reform, social justice, and environmental conservation. Jobs was married to Apple CEO Steve Jobs until his death.
Trump was also scheduled to meet with Rep. Elijah Cummings, D-Md., Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke, Sen. Lisa Murkowski, R-Alaska, and Sen. Dan Sullivan, R-Alaska, later in the afternoon.
In the evening, Trump is scheduled to meet with Republican leaders to discuss healthcare, and is later having dinner with Republican primary-rival Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, and his wife.
