Feb. 24 (UPI) -- Donald Trump addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference on Friday, his fifth time at the event, but his first as president of the United States.
Trump was the first president to speak at the conservative grassroots conference in his first year in office since former President Ronald Reagan in 1981.
"We have a very important guest today!" CPAC tweeted Friday morning.
Other scheduled speakers include National Rifle Association executive Wayne LaPierre, former British Independence Party leader Nigel Farage, who is a member of the European Parliament, and U.S. journalist Katie Pavlich.
