PANAMA CITY, Fla., Oct. 12 (UPI) -- In a rally in Florida on Tuesday night, Donald Trump urged his supporters to vote – five days after Thanksgiving.

Trump's slip of the tongue came in Panama City, Fla., where he told supporters: "There's never been anything like this, so go and register. Make sure you get out and vote Nov. 28."

Technically, Florida's voter registration deadline has also passed, though Democrats sued Gov. Rick Scott, who refused to extend the deadline despite Hurricane Matthew, which caused tens of thousands of Floridians to evacuate. A federal judge on Monday extended the deadline a day and then extended it until Oct. 18 after a hearing Wednesday morning.
