WASHINGTON Oct. 11 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll for Tuesday shows Hillary Clinton extending her lead over Donald Trump to 6 percentage points, while also topping the 50 percent barrier. The online poll shows Clinton with 50.23 percent to Trump's 44.09 percent.

The most recent data reflect a three-tenths of a point shift from Trump to Clinton, continuing Trump's decline over the last four days, since a video was released of Trump laughing about grabbing women by the genitals surfaced on Friday.
Tuesday's poll is the first time Clinton has topped 50 percent since Aug. 18, two weeks after the Democratic convention, after which she received a significant polling bump. That period also coincided with another of Trump's public feuds, with the Muslim parents of a slain Army captain, who criticized his proposal to ban Muslim immigration.
Tuesday's results are also the first full day of polling since Sunday's debate, which some flash polls showed Clinton winning, while other pundits mostly scored it a draw. The initial indication in the tracking poll shows the debate did not help stop Trump's slide.
The UPI/CVoter online tracking poll surveys about 200 people each day, leading to a sample size of roughly 1,400 people during any seven-day span.
Because the poll is conducted online and individuals self-select to participate, a margin of error cannot be calculated. The poll has a credibility interval of 3 percentage points. This seven-day span includes data collected from Oct. 4 to 10, when 1,916 individuals were surveyed. Of them, 1,367 identified themselves as likely voters.
