WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- The UPI/CVoter daily presidential tracking poll for Tuesday shows Hillary Clinton leading Donald Trump by 2 percentage points.
The online poll shows Clinton with 48.55 percent to Trump's 46.5 percent.
Though he still trails, Trump made up nearly 1 percentage point compared to data collected a day earlier; Clinton dropped 0.8 percent overnight. Still, over the course of seven days, the poll's full sample size, Clinton has improved her standing by 0.6 percent, while Trump has dropped nearly a full percentage point in the poll.
The UPI/CVoter online tracking poll surveys at least 200 people each day, leading to a sample size of more than 1,400 people during any seven-day span.
Because the poll is conducted online and individuals self-select to participate, a margin of error cannot be calculated. The poll has a credibility interval of 3 percentage points. This seven-day span includes data collected from Aug. 28-Sept. 4, when 1,798 individuals were surveyed. Of them, 1,237 identified themselves as likely voters.
