MIAMI, July 21 (UPI) -- A murder suspect who allegedly escaped from a Florida courthouse while in police custody and eluded a manhunt for six days has been captured, authorities said.

No other details of the arrest were released.

A $50,000 reward had been offered for information leading to the suspect's recapture.

Resiles is charged with the killing of Jill Halliburton Su in 2014 and could be given the death penalty if convicted.

On Friday, Resiles, with the help of five other people, jumped out of the courtroom's jury box, slipped out of his restraints and his prison jumpsuit and escaped out a back exit of the building before police could establish a perimeter, authorities said.

Resilies' 18-year-old girlfriend and four others are believed to be involved in the escape. One of them, 22-year-old Walter Hart III, is currently in prison for a different second-degree murder charge.
