HONOLULU, July 5 (UPI) -- The Coast Guard rescued three recreational boaters after their vessel sank as they helped in a search for three missing fishermen off Oahu's North Shore in Hawaii.

The boaters' 30-foot recreational vessel was towing a 20-foot fishing boat Monday evening when the U.S. Coast Guard responded to a distress signal. The three men were rescued by helicopter, and a fourth swam to shore.
