The Coast Guard deployed a team to search for Broberg about 195 miles off the coast of Galveston, Texas.

Broberg's traveling companions reported that she had gone missing, prompting a ship-wide search in hopes of locating her.

"They wanted to check every single room to make sure that every guest was in their room. They were just keeping us updated like 'we have not found her.' People are talking about it everywhere. They're very sad," Liberty passenger Linda Lopez told ABC 13.

The ship left from Galveston, on Thursday for a four-day cruise of Mexico.
