WASHINGTON, March 11 (UPI) -- A reporter for a conservative media site has filed a criminal complaint against Donald Trump's campaign manager, alleging he physically harassed her during a press conference.

Michelle Fields, a reporter for Breitbart, said Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski grabbed her arm and pulled her nearly to the ground during a press conference in Florida last week. A Trump spokeswoman denied the claim and later called Fields "delusional."

Trump himself was asked about the incident on CNN after Thursday night's debate, and he said "perhaps she made the whole thing up."

Fields tweeted pictures of bruises on her arm and a reporter for The Washington Post wrote a story, saying he witnessed the incident and spoke to a shaken Fields immediately after it happened.

Breitbart published its own exhaustive account of the incident, suggesting it may actually not have been Lewandowski who grabbed Fields, but a security guard who was dressed similarly and serving as Trump's body man at the event.

Breitbart collected multiple videos of the press conference and Trump wading through a sea of reporters afterward, saying they were publishing them "in the interest of transparency." None show conclusive evidence Lewandowski harassed Fields, but the Brietbart report concluded it was "unlikely" given where he was walking just prior to it happening that Lewandowski was the person who grabbed Fields during the media scrum.
