WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton continues to lead for the Democratic nomination, according to a new poll, whereas former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina has surged in the Republican side.
For the Democratic nomination for president, Clinton had 42 percent of support from registered voters identifying as Democrats or left-leaning Independents, according to a poll released Monday by CNN and ORC International. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders had 24 percent of support while Vice President Joe Biden had 22 percent.
