The Philadelphia Inquirer listed these as including Main Office Delivery (19102, 19103, 19104), William Penn Annex (19106 and 19107), Fairmount Station (19130), and Spring Garden Station (19122 and 19123).

Postal Service spokesman Ray Daiutolo, Sr. told The Inquirer that no mailmen or trucks will be able to get into these areas on Sept. 26.

The characteristic blue mail collection boxes will also be removed from the area by Thursday, Sept. 24 and replaced on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Local branches of the Social Security Administration said they would close on Sept. 25 and 28. Additionally, the hours to service those not soliciting card services will be cut, from 9 a.m. until noon, at certain branches. These include Aramingo, Germantown, Northeast Philadelphia, and others.

The Internal Revenue Service also announced one of its tax assistance facilities would be closed Sept. 25 and 28, redirecting those seeking help to officers in nearby Media, Horsham and King of Prussia.
