Waco biker shootout autopsies reveal multiple gunshot wounds

WACO, Texas, Aug. 14 (UPI) -- Authorities released the autopsies of nine bikers killed in a gangland-style shootout in May, but have yet to reveal who fired on whom.

Each of the nine died from one or more bullets, the report said, but full ballistics reports were not included in the autopsy reports. Waco police have said three officers fired a total of 12 rounds in the May 17 shooting that also injured 20 and resulted in the arrest of 177. The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confiscated some 465 weapons from the scene, including 151 guns.

The reports showed four of the nine victims had drugs that included marijuana and methamphetamines in their systems when they died.

The autopsies provide a closer look at the incident that began in a restaurant parking lot and spilled into the streets on May 17. Investigators have yet to announce what sparked the fight. Two suspects still remain in jail.

The reports show the following:

Richard Matthew Jordan II, 31, died as a result of a single gunshot to the head.

Richard Vincent Kirschner Jr., 47, had a gunshot wound to his right thigh, one to the left knee and one in the left buttock. He also had a superficial cut to the right side of his neck, a scalp laceration and abrasions to his face, trunk and extremities.

Jacob Lee Rhyne, 39, had a gunshot wound to the left side of the neck that partially exited through his upper back and a gunshot wound to the lower abdomen, in addition to abrasions on his right hand.

Jesus Delgado Rodriguez, 64, was shot in the head and in the back.

Manuel Issac Rodriguez, 40, had one gunshot wound to the head and one in the back.

Charles Wayne Russell, 46, was shot once in the chest.

Matthew Mark Smith, 27, was shot once in his upper back and once in his abdomen.
