WASHINGTON, April 23 (UPI) -- First lady Michelle Obama felt special Wednesday when a little girl told her she was too young to be a 51-year-old.
She was hosting an event for the Take Our Daughters and Sons to Work Day at the White House and fielding questions from children of Executive Office employees, local young people from the Boys and Girls Club and D.C. Child and Family Services. It was then the girl asked the bold question.
"How old are you?" she asked.
Obama told her "51."
Her reaction was off camera but the first lady asked why she was making a face. After hearing her answer, Obama asked someone to give her the mic.
"You're too young for a 51-year-old!" the girl repeated.
Obama smiled and asked her to come up on stage for a big hug. She made the first lady's day.
