KEY WEST, Fla., March 23 (UPI) -- The U.S. Coast Guard is searching for a Royal Caribbean passenger after he fell overboard the Liberty of the Seas ship off the Florida Keys.

The passenger was reportedly seen on security footage climbing over the railing and going overboard around 9 p.m. Sunday.

Chief Petty Officer Ryan Doss told NBC News the Coast Guard was notified of the passenger going overboard 20 miles off the coast of Marathon, Fla., late Sunday night.

The USCG Southeast tweeted Monday they had completed 11 sweeps for the missing passenger.

There has been no sign of the passenger.
