WASHINGTON, March 16 (UPI) -- Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg turned 82 Sunday and her loyal millennial fans showed their praise through memes.

Ginsburg was the first Jewish woman appointed to the highest court in 1993 by President Bill Clinton. Known for her passionate defense of women's rights and equality, Ginsburg has generated a following among women and progressives during her 20-plus years on the bench.

Her fans started the Notorious RBG meme to show their support for the sharp-tongued justice. Ginsburg has said she and her family all enjoy the title.
