Train collides with truck in California, 30 injured

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 24 (UPI) -- A train headed to Los Angeles derailed after colliding with a utility truck that was on the tracks on Tuesday morning, injuring at least 30 people.

No deaths have been reported, but the truck caught on fire. Emergency personnel responded to the crash about 70 miles northwest of Los Angeles on the Ventura County Line tracks.

Several carriages were overturned. The crash was first reported shortly before 6 a.m.
