COLUMBIA, S.C., Feb. 5 (UPI) --
The University of South Carolina's Columbia campus is on lockdown after shots were fired at the university's School of Public Health building Thursday afternoon.
People were being told to take shelter. All of the university's buildings were on lockdown as police set up a perimeter and blocked off part of the school.
Officers in SWAT gear were moving people from the School of Public Health building to nearby buildings. There is a report of an ambulance on scene.
