WASHINGTON, Jan. 11 (UPI) -- Billionaire real estate tycoon Donald Trump said he's looking into a 2016 presidential campaign "very seriously."

On Jan. 17, Trump will deliver a keynote address in South Carolina's tea party convention to gauge reaction from the key primary state.

In an interview on John Catsimatidis's "The Cats Roundtable" radio show, Trump said he'll travel from Iowa, South Carolina and New Hampshire and also said he does well in political polls, which may lead him to a decision to run for the presidency.

Trump, who worth $4 billion, joins the hefty list of possible presidential hopefuls including former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Sen. Rand Paul, R-Ky., Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fl., and New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
