NEW YORK, Jan. 5 (UPI) -- Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz is publicly denying charges an underage prostitute was forced to have sex with him, calling the accusation, "totally false and made up."

Dershowitz is named along with Prince Andrew Duke of York, in a case against registered sex offender Jeffrey Epstein alleging Epstein forced several underage women to engage in nonconsensual sex while they were serving as Epstein's "sex slaves."

In addition to Dershowitz, lawyers for Jane Doe No. 3 say Epstein forced then-17-year-old to have sex with "many other powerful men, including numerous prominent American politicians, powerful business executives, foreign presidents, a well-known Prime Minister, and other world leaders."

Speaking to NBC's Today Show, Dershowitz called his inclusion in the suit "the legal equivalent of scribbling something on a toilet stall and then running away."

"[Doe's lawyers] didn't think there would be any response, and they will rue the day that they filed this unethical complaint because they, I believe, will be disbarred."

For her part, Jane Doe No. 3 says Dershowitz in engaging in a concerted effort to silence her.

"These types of aggressive attacks on me are exactly the reason why sexual abuse victims typically remain silent and the reason why I did for a long time," the now-30-year-old said in a statement provided to the Guardian.

"That trend should change. I'm not going to be bullied back into silence."

Dershowitz says the last the thing he wants to do is silence the alleged victim as he wants a full investigation to clear his name.

"I welcome a full investigation," Dershowitz proclaimed Monday.

"I'm not trying to silence her. I've challenged her to repeat the statement to the press so that I can sue for defamation. I have challenged her to file rape criminal charges against me because if she does, she exposes herself to criminal prosecution."
