The names and conditions of the victims were not revealed.

The two gunshot victims and one other person were transported to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland. All victims were said to be conscious and breathing en route to the hospital.

Rosemary Anderson High School is an alternative school for at-risk students who have been expelled or dropped out of traditional public school. The school enrolls up to 190 students annually.

Other schools in the city have been placed on lockdown in the wake of the shooting.

This is the second high school shooting in the Portland area this year. One student was shot dead at Reynolds High School in Troutdale, Ore., on June 10. Police killed the gunman, a 15-year-old freshman at the school.
