NEW YORK, Nov. 18 (UPI) -- An employee of a New York diamond district jewelry store has been charged with participating in a robbery there last week, police said Tuesday.

Rondu Frisby, 37, was arrested Monday at his home in the Harlem neighborhood. Police said he also faces drug charges because cocaine and marijuana were found in his apartment, along with watches.

Investigators said Frisby was spotted throwing cocaine out of a window shortly before police entered his apartment.

Watch Standard Jewelry was robbed of about half a million dollars in jewelry and $6,000 in cash during the robbery last Tuesday, police said. The thieves pistol-whipped the store's owner, Boris Mikhaylov.

Police are searching for Leon Fenner, 58, who was identified through fingerprints found at the store. Another man has not been identified.

Fenner allegedly attacked Mikhaylov.

Frisby was captured by a security camera with the other men before the robbery, police said.

The store kept its door locked, buzzing customers in. But police said Fenner gained entry by claiming to be making a delivery.

The third man allegedly was the lookout.
