EDMONTON, Alberta, Nov. 9 (UPI) -- While making an emergency crash landing in Edmonton, Canada, the propeller of a passenger plane sliced into a window and struck a passenger.

Investigators have said the Jazz Aviation aircraft's landing gears may have failed and caused the crash landing, CTV reports. The passenger, Christina Kurylo, told CTV her glasses were knocked off and her head was bruised.

"All of a sudden, something came crashing through my window and I got hit in the head," Kurylo told CTV Edmonton on Saturday.

Kurylo and three other passenger experienced minor injuries in the Thursday incident. The plane was headed for Grande Prairie from Calgary. The plane was manufactured in 2012 and is the same model as planes that caused crash landings for Scandinavian Air in 2007 because of faulty landing gears.
