SEATTLE, Nov. 5 (UPI) -- Media-hounded Amanda Knox is now working for the Seattle newspaper West Seattle Herald as a freelance writer.

Knox is focusing on the theater and the arts, and has been praised by her editors and colleagues for her writing. She began writing under a pen name, but now writes under her own, infamous name.

Her new bosses have defended her and said she is not hiding. Knox is just trying to have a "normal life," said her supervisor.

"She's a great writer, she knows the arts and she's dependable," the West Seattle Herald managing editor Ken Robinson told Q13 Fox. "She kind of a dream for a small community paper. She never misses a deadline."
