WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 (UPI) -- The White House was put on lockdown Wednesday evening after a man jumped the fence at the North Lawn.
The man, whose name hasn't been released, allegedly jumped the fence and was immediately taken into custody by Secret Service agents.
In a video of the incident, the man is seen wearing a dark shirt and white gym shorts. He lifted his shirt to show his chest before Secret Service dogs rushed him.
The man lashed out at the dogs, kicking and punching them, before a Secret Service officer arrested him. Officers then searched the premises and put the White House on lockdown.
This is the seventh time someone has climbed over the fence at the White House this year. In the most recent incident, Omar Gonzalez, of Texas, managed to make it as far as the building's North Portico doors with a knife before he was stopped by the Secret Service, which is charged with protecting President Barack Obama and his family.
After the September incident, the Secret Service installed an extra barrier around the White House.
