SHREVEPORT, La., Oct. 15 (UPI) -- Louisiana Democrat Sen. Mary Landrieu gave U.S. President Barack Obama a barely-passing grade when asked to rate his administration at a recent debate with the Republican and Tea Party challengers to her Senate seat.

"I would give President Obama a six-to-seven," Landrieu told the moderators of Tuesday's debate.

"I think he's had some really tough issues to deal with."

Republican challenger State Rep. Bill Cassidy and Tea Party candidate Rob Maness both gave President Obama a zero rating.

When asked to rate Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Landrieu was less kind, giving the unpopular Republican a 3 out of 10, and criticizing him for supporting Common Core before reversing his stance in time for a likely presidential bid.

"Our governor was a supporter of them before he decided to run for president and oppose it."

The question created an awkward moment for Cassidy, who initially attempted to refuses the question before offering a 7, adding "[Jindal]'s taken some tough licks."
