School shooting after football game leaves Ga. teen dead

School shooting takes place after football game, killing one teen who didn't attend the school.

FAIRBURN, Ga., Oct. 4 (UPI) -- A school shooting after a high school football game Friday night in Fulton County, Ga., left a 17-year-old boy dead.

The shooting took place around 10 p.m. in the parking lot at Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn.


Kristofer Hunter, of College Park, Ga., was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he died from his injuries. He was pronounced dead at 12:30 a.m.

School officials told WSB-TV, Atlanta, Hunter was not a student at Langston Hughes.

Fulton County and school police were investigating the incident, along with the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.
