GOSHEN, N.Y., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- Nine inmates at Orange County Jail were hospitalized Saturday, after authorities say they ingested marijuana tainted by another illegal substance.
According to a Orange County Sheriff Carl DuBois, an inmate committed on Friday for parole violation smuggled in marijuana laced with an additional narcotic. On Saturday morning, the new inmate shared the loaded pot with eight other prisoners, all of whom, including himself, became visibly ill while in their cell block's exercise yard.
