LEESBURG, Fla., July 31 (UPI) -- Police in Florida are hunting for two potential assailants they say shot and pistol whipped an unsuspecting man before robbing him Wednesday evening.

Just prior to 10:30 p.m., 22-year old Jeremy Harrison was sitting in a vehicle by a park in Leesburg with a female companion, when two masked men approached the car. According to Harrison, the men then forced him out of the car, struck him in the face with a pistol, shot him and took his wallet and shorts before fleeing.
