DETROIT, July 7 (UPI) -- An unidentified man was arrested at Detroit Metro Airport on Sunday when authorities found a knife in his shoe.
The Transportation Security Agency described the knife, which was hidden underneath the bottom padding of the man's shoe, as "artfully concealed."

He passed through a security checkpoint just before 7:30 a.m., when he was arrested by Wayne County Airport Police.
The incident comes one day after TSA officials announced stringent new regulations against unpowered electronics, like phones and laptops, on U.S.-bound flights. Passengers on some flights from overseas to the United States may have to prove that their phones and laptops actually work and aren't explosive devices.
