WASHINGTON, July 7 (UPI) -- If you find yourself missing the halcyon days of President George W. Bush's administration, the Republican Party has the perfect t-shirt for you.

On the heels of a new poll finding President Obama overtaking his predecessor as the "worst president since World War II", the Republican National Committee launched a new fundraising pitch to "get principled leadership back in the White House."

Contributors donating $27 will receive "comfortable, classic, American-made tee" featuring the bust of the 43rd president that proudly proclaims: "I miss W."

"President George W. Bush led our nation through some of the most challenging moments of our nation's history -- and we miss him and his leadership," the GOP website says.

The poll, conducted by Quinnipiac, found 33 percent of respondents said Obama was the worst post-WWII president, followed by Bush at 28 percent. But lest Republicans get too gleeful over the findings, Americans seem to be habitually glum about their commander in chief at this point in a presidency: A previous version of the poll, taken in 2006, found Bush named the worst president by 34 percent to Bill Clinton's 16 percent.
