O.J. Simpson's white Ford Bronco can be rented for private parties

LOS ANGELES, June 18 (UPI) -- The white Ford Bronco, famously chased on live television by Los Angeles police as O.J. Simpson evaded arrest in 1994, can now be rented for special events.

Former NFL player and Simpson's forced-getaway driver Al Cowlings sold the Bronco in 1995 for $200,000 to a trio of California men who wanted to resell it as "O.J. Simpson's white Bronco."

"Because the whole thing was so racially fueled at the time, they didn't want the perception of profiting off murders and racism, so they just hung onto the car for a very long time," an anonymous source close to the Bronco's current owners told NBC News.

Since then, the Bronco has very quietly been made available for private events -- on the strict condition that anyone renting it does not reveal the identity of the owners or how they were put in touch with each other.

"These people are very secretive about owning it. They don't want anyone to know."

One of those "very secretive" people who does not want anyone to know of his involvement with the Bronco is Miami resident Michael Pulwer, a 64-year-old restaurant owner and businessman. When pressed by NBC News, Pulwer admitted to being one of the three men who own the famous truck and said he thinks their investment will eventually be in a car museum.

If you're unable to track down Pulwer in time for your next party, white 1994 Ford Broncos are in no short supply and are worth much less than $200,000.
