CINCINNATI, May 27 (UPI) -- A man believed to be a missing University of Cincinnati student has been found dead in an apparent suicide.
Cincinnati police said they were called to the building Monday night by the owner.
The building is next door to the one where Brogan Dulle lived.
Officers found the body of a man hanging in "what appears to be a self-inflicted act," Police Chief Jeffrey Blackwell said.
The 21-year-old had not been seen since May 18. Police said the search was difficult because there appeared to be no reason for Dulle to vanish.
One neighbor wondered why police had been unable to find Dulle sooner.
"'How did you miss it? How did no one go in there and search it?' is what we're all thinking right now," Ally Wilkes told WCPO-TV. "How he was so close to home, so close to home and no one knew."
Police said they went to the building Saturday but were unable to gain entry because it is private property. Hundreds of volunteers had been searching for Dulle for days.
