California men reportedly shot at women for refusing to have sex

STOCKTON, Calif., May 27 (UPI) -- Hours after Elliot Rodger took the lives of himself and six others on the UC Santa Barbara campus, a California man allegedly fired shots at three women when they turned down sexual advances.

The three women were at a home in Stockton when the three men they were visiting reportedly asked them to have sex. After the women declined, they were told to leave, according to Fox40.

As they were leaving, Keith Binder allegedly fired eight rounds from a 9mm handgun at the women. None of the women were struck and they escaped to a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant nearby.

In addition to the 21-year-old suspect, police have identified the other two suspects by their nicknames, "Little D" and "Little Eggy."

Stockton Police Department Public Information Officer Joseph Silva told ThinkProgress that police are still searching for the suspects and that no charges have been filed.

It is unknown whether Binder had a permit for the gun.
