Joe Brown, a Shelby County candidate for district attorney general and former Shelby County Criminal Court judge, was arrested after he reportedly lost his cool in a Memphis, Tenn., courtroom on Monday.
Brown is best known as "Judge Joe Brown," the star of a court-room reality series canceled last year.

Juvenile Court Chief Magistrate Dan Michael told the Knoxville News Sentinel that Brown, who was in court representing a client at a child-support hearing, started yelling at the judge.
“He all but had that courtroom in a riot,’’ Michael said.
Brown was arrested for contempt of court and was ordered to spend five days in jail.
