Rick Scott snubs protesters, did not even slow SUV

Angry constituents are not Rick Scott's only problem.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) was at a fundraiser Friday when he ignored angry protesters and kept his motorcade going down the street.

They were protesting the decision to move parole offices to an old Coca-Cola plant area. This decision was reportedly made quietly and without consultation with local residents. When the Governor's SUV passed the protesters, he did not speak to them, or order the car to slow. The motorcade allegedly almost ran over a few people.

These residents say they haven't been able to schedule a meeting with the governor to discuss their concerns about having parole and correctional facilities near where their children play.

This is not Scott's only problem. He has also been accused of breaking campaign finance laws and could be slapped with a fine of $82 million. He will be seeking re-election against Democrat and former Fla. Gov. Charlie Crist.
