Barack Obama appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' talk show on Thursday for the first time since he became president as part of a whirlwind media tour encouraging Americans to sign up for Obamacare.
Though he showed up in person in 2007 -- where viewers got a glimpse of the then-senator's dance skills -- this time, Obama spoke to DeGeneres via satellite feed. They discussed the first lady's trip to China, House of Cards and, of course, Ellen's star-studded Oscars selfie.
"I thought it was a pretty cheap stunt myself, getting a bunch of celebrities in the background," the president joked of DeGeneres' selfie, which became the most re-tweeted tweet in history earlier this month, breaking Obama's 2012 record.
