WASHINGTON, March 14 (UPI) -- U.S. President Barack Obama meets with his Irish counterpart Friday and will attend a St. Patrick's Day lunch at the Capitol, the official schedule indicates.

Obama and Irish Prime Minister Enda Kenny are to meet in the Oval Office, along with Vice President Joe Biden, before heading for the Capitol.

The president and first lady are to host an evening St. Patrick's Day reception in the East Room of the White House, the schedule indicated.
